Trusting

This week has been a week of trusting. Trusting that God has a perfect plan for my life and that even if I don't understand what that plan is, or why that is the plan, that I can trust Him. His purposes are higher than my own and He knows the future, not me. If you know me, trusting isn't always easy for me, although, it's always been easier for me to trust God in the "big things" rather than the "little things" in life. One of the "big things" for me lately has been searching for a job. As I thought God was leading me one direction, by the end of the week where I ended up from where I started was a completely different location. The location that I ended up with is a job at Starbucks!:) If you talked to me today you know that I'm actually thrilled about my new job and can't wait to see how this job might fulfill part of God's purpose in my life. I trust that this is part of my journey, and as I see it now, God has me right where he wants me.....dependant on Him to provide just what I need, just when I need it. With the crisis in the economy right now, I have needed the reminder that our trust needs to be in the One who is the True Provider. He is faithful and worthy to be praised!:)

I just read Nicki's newest post about the job at the school and wanted to say Congratulations! I'm glad you got it because I know that's something you had really been wanting--and you will be great at it!

Can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks!
